Ball Hockey
The Cayman Islands Ball Hockey Association was formed in 2005.
However hockey has been played in the Cayman Islands since 1985.
Over the years ball hockey has grown from a few guys getting together for a
casual game once a week to the now very competitive Cayman Islands
Ball Hockey Association League play. Games are contested weekly at The
King’s Sports Centre, a premier multi-sport facility for the Caribbean.
This will be Cayman’s fifth consecutive appearance at the World Championships.
The Cayman Islands have also hosted the Caribbean Cup three times which is played in the off years to the World Championships. With approximately one hundred registered ball hockey players to pull from Cayman has always managed to put together a hard-working and dedicated squad to compete at
the world level.”
The league is Thursday nights 8pm-10pm
